In the nearly two years I have lived here in Virginia, I have rarely seen a sunrise (other than at the beach). There are just too many trees around my house to really see much of it and I am not usually out and about that early in the morning (I am awake, just still in my pj's!) So last saturday I dragged my little sister out of bed at 6a.m. and we headed to Pleasant Grove (a wide open field just 10 minutes from my house) to watch the sunrise. It was SOOOO beautiful! These pictures don't really do it justice! I will definately have to do this more often!
