Here is a little preview of a recent newborn session for a good friend of mine- sweet little Ivan. Isn't he adorable? Taking and editing these made me baby hungry, which is crazy considering my youngest is only 6 months! They just grow up too fast! I had so much fun with this little guy- he was so good and sleepy and was a real trooper while we spent a good 10 minutes trying to wrap him in cheese cloth. But I love how those shots turned out, especially considering my poor cheese-cloth wrapping skills (it was much more difficult than I imagined!) When I bought this cheese cloth at the craft store, the woman helping me find it asked me "So, what are you doing with the cheese cloth?" I hesitated telling her, knowing how ridiculous it sounded, but I told her "I photograph babies and I am using it to wrap them up in for pictures" She looked at me like I was a raving lunatic and said "Well, I haven't heard that one before!" Boy, did I feel stupid after that! So I am tempted to print this shot, take it in to JoAnn's and say "See, I am not as crazy as you think!" If I get the guts to do that, I will let you all know what she says!

Mandy, I love these! Especially the cheese cloth one. You need to take this in and show the lady at the craft store. It's just stunning. You newborn photos honestly give me more inspiration than any other photography site. These are just beautiful!
