A great session...

What do you get when you combine an adorable, blue-eyed three year old, a cooperative newborn, a home with an abundance of light (and beautiful decor!) and a photographer who recently upgraded her camera? You get a FANTASTIC session! This session was really one of those sessions that reminded me of how much I love my job. I will be honest and say that although I truly do love ALL of the children and families I photograph, I occasionally leave my sessions feeling a little tired. It can definitely be a workout chasing fast and unpredictable kids around for a few hours! But I really had so much fun at this session.
Little K was such a character! She was really into Cinderella and I has so much fun playing "Bipity-bopity" with her- in case you are unfamiliar with that game, it is where you take you magic wand and turn objects into anything you can think of by saying "Bipity-bopity, bipity-bopity... Turn this (insert object of choice) into a (insert another object of choice)!" I only wish I would have snapped a picture of the chair we turned into a sheep- it was amazing.
At 2 weeks, baby A was a dream! We got some great awake shots of him and then he fell right asleep so I could work my magic at bending tiny parts to my liking. I have been trying this heart shot with my past few newborns and I finally pulled it off- one of my new favorite shots! Isn't it sweet?
And I won't bore you with too much talk about the new camera(those who know me or read my family blog know how much I love to talk about my equipment LOL!), but I will just say that I LOVE it! It is certainly going to make the technical aspect of my job much better and easier!
I hope you enjoy the sneak peek, mom and dad! I can't wait to show you the rest- I got so many amazing shots I had a hard time narrowing down what to show here!
And to everyone else, I hope your Christmas preparations are coming along! Only 12 days left!!!
