Drum Roll....

After a long wait, I am so excited to announce that my new site is finally LIVE!!! This new and improved site has been on my to do list now for 6 months, so it feels so good to have it ready! I am beyond thrilled with it- it is going to make life at Mandy Carroll Photography so much easier and better and I am certain that my clients will find it more useful as well! I am also excited to announce an addition to my business- Mandy Carroll Photography SENIORS. I love photographing teens, so I am very excited about adding high school senior portraits to my plate. We will see how it goes!

CONTEST

A little later than expected, but the annual 2007 Kid of the Year Contest is here! Here is how it goes:

The Rules

I have randomly selected 9 kids from my 2007 sessions. You can vote for your favorite contestant by sending an email to contest@mandycarroll.com and including the name and number of the contestant in the subject line. While I love to hear your comments here, only votes sent to this email address will be counted. Keep in mind that the voting is open to ANYONE, so if you want your contestant to win, be sure to tell you family, friends, coworkers, aerobics instructors, etc. to vote! And just for fun, feel free to include your location as well. Last year we had votes from Japan, Germany and all over the US which was great! Lets see how far the contest reaches this year! Only one vote per person is allowed.

The Deadline

Voting will begin today and will end Monday March 10 at 10pm. So you have one week to get those votes in! Check back here throughout the week for contest updates and personal details on the contestants sessions! I will announce the big winners here Tuesday, March 11.

The Prize

The contestant who receives the most votes will win a complimentary session with Mandy Carroll Photography as well as a complimentary 8x10. And the first runner up will receive a $75 print credit toward a future session.

A Big Bonus

Because I could not include every client and child in this contest, I decided to do a random drawing for a complimentary session in addition to the above prizes. At the end of the voting week, I will randomly pick an email (based on number) to win a gift certificate for a free session. This certificate can be transferable, so if Aunt Petunia from England wins, she can choose any of the following options:
1- Use the certificate for herself when she comes to Cville to visit
2- Fly me to England for a session (my preferred option)
3- Give the certificate to little nephew Joe and family.

So even if your child was not included as a contestant this year, be sure to still recruit your family and friends (and aerobics instructors- do not forget those aerobics instructors) to vote to increase your chances!

All certificates and prizes will expire in March of 2009. So winners will have one year to use their certificates.

I would like to say a big thank you to all of my 2007 clients. It has been such a joy working with so many beautiful children and families! Thank you for making this year such a success and allowing me to continue sharing my art with you! I appreciate you all so very much!
