My Idea of Fun

What do you get when you combine a beautiful newborn baby, lots of great props, textured blankets and fabrics, two crazed photographers and 3 days? My idea of FUN, that is what you get! 3 days of fun and, naturally, HUNDREDS of images to prove it!
The minute my good friend and fellow photographer Ashley told me she was pregnant, the wheels in my head began spinning with travel plans to Georgia and visions of various baby poses. There was no way I could pass up this opportunity to photograph sweet Olivia! There is something very gratifying about having another photographer who understands how wonderfully different fur and fleece are; who understands the concept of taking 50 slightly different shots of one pose to get just one perfect shot, only to then move the arms or head and take another fifty. And who could do this several times a day for 3 days and not get bored. I can't tell you how much fun this was for me! I have so many favorite images from this session, I did not know what to show here! With Ashley's permission, I may post the link to her slideshow when I finish it.
Congratulations, Ashley and Josh and thanks again for your wonderful southern hospitality! We had so much fun visiting you guys and getting a taste of Georgia!
*A couple of quick notes:
My spring schedule is quickly filling up, so if you are thinking about a session between April and June, contact me as soon as possible.
Also, those who are watching for an announcement on my Class of '09 Senior Reps, please stay tuned. I will announce my Reps here on the blog within the next week. Thanks for your patience!

Mandy, These are wonderful. I am terrible at baby sessions. I may call you sometime for some tips. Are you enjoying the D300? I have to admit, I am so jealous.
