I am thankful for...

Since November is officially here and Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to start off every post this month by listing something I am thankful for. With this post, I am thankful for Excedrin.
Saturday morning I gathered up all my stuff to get ready for my shoot that morning. With a few minutes to kill before I headed out the door, I sat down at my computer to check my email when I noticed that I was having trouble reading. Everything started to look very fuzzy. Well, I used to get occasional migraine headaches in high school, so I knew that this fuzzy vision was an early sign of a migraine. Within just a few minutes, the vision got worse and the headache started coming. After whining a bit to my husband about what the odds were that I would get a migraine headache 15 minutes before an already rescheduled shoot when I had been migraine free for 10 years, I called my client to see if we could move our shoot to the afternoon, hoping that some medicine and rest would cure me. Thankfully, they were very understanding. So I sent my husband out for some Excedrin Migraine and turned down all the blinds to get some rest. And I have to say, those 30 minutes that my husband was gone were agony. I don't remember migraines hurting so bad! For a while there I began to seriously wonder if it was something more serious, like meningitis. But thankfully, after a dose of Excedrin and a nice nap, I felt much better. My heart really goes out to those of you that suffer from migraines though- they are terrible!! So again, I am thankful for Excedrin (as well as understanding clients and a husband who will take the kids out for a few hours so I can get a nap!)
Well despite all of that, this session ended up going so well! You may recognize this little guy- I took photos of him last November as well! It is amazing how much children change in a year! Last year he was just sitting up, and now he is a fast moving and talking toddler! I had so much fun with him though. He was so sweet and warmed up to me in no time at all! He even shared his leaves with me! These are just a few that I really liked.
Hope you enjoy!!

Ugh, I hope I never have one of those! I'm so sorry you had to deal with that.
However, these photos are gorgeous and you did a marvelous job! He's just so cute and I love the fall colors in these.

Mandy,

I think Kyle could be the spokesperson for Excedrin Migraine! He gets migraines pretty regularly, so it's a life saver for us! I'm glad it worked for you, and your photos are beautiful, as usual.
