Crazy weather...

Is this weather driving anyone else crazy? Well, I am a fall girl all the way- I love everything about it! And one of my favorite things about fall is pulling the sweaters out of my closet. I love sweaters- I always have. It could be the middle of the summer and 100 degrees outside, and if I saw a cute sweater in the mall, I would buy it! It would catch my eye above all the flip-flops and swim trunks and other more appropriate summer gear! Well last week my sweaters were calling my name from the closet, so I decided since it was too hot to wear them, I would take pictures of them! I know- I am a little strange. But, didn't they make for some fun photos? And I actually entered this collage into a seasonal contest on a photography forum I am a member of and I won! So, that helps lessen the stupidity I feel when I think of all the trouble and time I spent arranging my sweaters in various 'poses'. (LOL!)

Anyways, this is just a small bit of my collection- I probably have sweaters in every color and shade imaginable (except orange, which I hope to add soon. Unless coral counts- I do have a coral one...) And I can't wait to start wearing them! Luckily the heat wave is almost over- this weekend the high is supposed to be in the high 60s, which is PERFECT fall weather! To celebrate, I plan on opening up all the windows Friday night, getting the kids to bed early, making some hot cocoa and trying to coax my hubby to watch Little Women or Home Alone (the original, not that Lost In New York nonsense!) with me. All while wearing my sweaters, of course! Ahhhhhh, I am excited!

Also had to add a few shots I took of the trees around our house. Aren't they beautiful? I am just loving the texture treatment lately (I hope you all are not tired of it yet!) and I think I am starting to get the hang of it.
