Falling behind...

I have to say that my only gripe with digital photography is that it is so easy to take pictures and then not do anything with them! It seems I have been doing this a lot lately with my own pictures- I will fill up my memory card with photos of my kids and family activities, then when I need my cards for a shoot, I will upload the photos to my computer, saying to myself I will get to them later. And since my personal photos are always on the back of my priority list, sometimes months will pass before I even get around to looking at them! Right now I have folders and folders of family photos piling up(on top of client photos) and I feel the serious need to get caught up! So, since we are in for a few more wet, rainy days, I am determined to do that!
Here is my first attempt at catching up. A few weeks ago our good friends who now live in NC were up visiting and we headed over to Carter Mountain for some apple pickin' fun! I just love Carter Mountain- especially in the fall! I was shocked at how busy it was up there, though! Don't be surprised if you see yourself in that first photo- I am convinced that the entire population of Charlottesville was up there that day! It was crazy! But, mmmm, those Fuji apples are so yummy! I look forward to them every year!
Here are just a few shots from that day. I promised my friend I would post some of her cute little boy, so here he is(Don't you just LOVE those curls?!) And one my oldest showing me his pick!
Enjoy!

Mandy, I'm right there with ya! I get so weary of editing client pics, I just brush my own to the side for months and months. I love the bright colors in these pics! Aly

Mandy, I know exactly what you mean. I'm in that boat right now and I haven't touched any of my own family's photos for a long time.
These are great and the colors are beautiful! I'm glad you got them out and shared!
