pig-tails, tires, a creek, vintage dresses and dolls... sounds like fun, huh!? Well, it was for me! These are just some shots of my good friends' little girls, taken last week just for fun. This week has been crazy busy, so it has taken me much longer than I would've liked to get to these! There's just never enough time in a day! And there are lots more that I haven't gotten to yet; if I get some free time I will post some of them here on the blog in the next week or so ('so' meaning 'by late December' LOL!)
Anyways, I had so much fun with these two! And they were such good sports on our venture! I am sure it looked pretty ridiculous as my friend and I hauled all our 'equipment' (2 strollers, 2 antique chairs, LOTS of clothes, some dolls, umbrellas, camera gear and our 4 kids) down the long, rugged trail to get to the stream. It was a major workout; I didn't remember the trail being so rough the last time I went there. And what on earth I was thinking wearing white capri's that day I will never know- after about five minutes I was literally sitting in the dirty water to get that first shot. Thank heavens for Spray 'n Wash and my trusty Clorox Bleach pen! But, I tell ya, sometimes sacrifices must be made for great photos! And in the end, I think these were worth it!
